Brian McMullen
Managing Partner & Co-Founder,
Snowhawk
• Brian is Managing Partner & Co-Founder at Snowhawk where he sits on the Management Committee and Investment Committee. Brian is on the board of CleanArc Data Centers, Prime Data Centers and ProsperOps.
• Brian has led investments in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America across a variety of sectors, including hyperscale data centers, interconnection, colocation, fiber and wireless infrastructure.
• He has served on numerous boards and worked closely with his management partners on platform development and strategy through a variety of organic initiatives and M&A, including over 100 acquisitions.
• Prior to founding Snowhawk, Brian served at Stonepeak as Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Communications and Digital Infrastructure, and an Investment Committee Member.
• Brian began his private equity career as an Analyst at H.I.G. Capital. Returning to H.I.G. after graduate school, Brian served as a Principal and a founding member of the middle market LBO team in San Francisco. His first job after college was in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston.
• Brian graduated from The Wharton School with an M.B.A. and an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania. He received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame
• Brian is in his element playing soccer, watching his kids play sports, and paddling various NY waterways.
Robert Reid
Founding Partner,

• Robert is Founding Partner at Snowhawk where he sits on the Management Committee, Investment Committee, SecureVision Board of Directors, and co-leads our investments
• Robert has more than two decades of investment, acquisition and operating experience with a focus primarily on technology and technology-related businesses
• He was a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone, where he helped lead private equity investments across a range of industries and geographies
• In his 22 years at Blackstone, Robert sourced, evaluated and executed a range of transaction types including growth capital, buyouts and distressed opportunities
• He was a member of Blackstone’s Private Equity Investment Committee and was one of the senior partners helping lead the firm’s private equity efforts in Europe from 2012 to 2016
• Robert has served on several public and private boards, including Scout24, one of the largest online classified business in Germany, SESAC, a large music performance rights organization and Nielsen, a leading consumer and media measurement business
• In addition to Blackstone, Robert was also a Partner at Navab Capital, BDT Partners, and CEO of Supernova I, II and III, publicly traded investment vehicles. He also worked in the Investment Banking division at Morgan Stanley
• Robert earned a degree in economics and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University
• Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, and their three children either on the water or traveling to exotic places
Sara Baack
Founding Partner,
Snowhawk
• Sara is Founding Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at Snowhawk and a member of the Management Committee, Investment Committee, and sits on the Prime, CleanArc, and ProsperOps Board of Directors. She leads value creation and ESG activities for the Firm.
• Sara brings more than 27 years of investing, operating, strategy, and team building experience across the technology and telecommunication industries
• Prior to joining Snowhawk, she served in the c-suite at Equinix for nearly ten years, most recently as Chief Product Officer where she architected Equinix’s vision across portfolio innovation, digital transformation, and business & technology scaling
• Sara also held the Chief Marketing Officer position at Equinix, overseeing product creation, demand generation and brand strategy & awareness for the company
• She served on the board of Splunk from 2017-2023 and several other private companies and is currently on the boards of Euronet Worldwide, CleanArc, and ProsperOps
• Previously, Sara spent 12 years at Level 3 Communications (now Lumen) as Senior Vice President running a variety of product lines and business units
• She began her career in investment banking at PaineWebber, and later worked in the Chairman’s office investing proprietary private equity capital for the firm
• Sara holds an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School where she was a Baker Scholar and a B.A. from Rice University
• Outside of work, Sara loves to garden, hike and chase her twin teenage boys (Teddy and Quinn) and husband Eric down the ski slopes on a bluebird day. Her family spends their Fridays before school packing bags for www.foodforthoughtdenver.org
Lora Giampetruzzi
Partner,

• Lora is a Partner at Snowhawk and serves as the Chief Administration Officer, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for the firm
• Prior to joining Snowhawk, Lora was Senior Vice President, Assistant General Counsel at Warburg Pincus where she focused her expertise on legal, operations and regulatory matters relating to Warburg Pincus and its private equity business and investment activities for the last two decades
• While at Warburg Pincus, Lora was a contributing member of various groups including the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Committee, the Women@Warburg Empowering Steering Committee and the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee
• Lora is an active board member on Northeastern University’s College of Social Sciences and Humanities Dean’s Strategy Council and on East End Hospice
• Lora received a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Northeastern University in 2000 and a Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 2006. Lora is a Member of the New York Bar and Bar of the Supreme Court of the U.S.
• Lora lives in Long Island, New York with her husband Gary and their four children. Lora invests in a lifestyle centered around overall wellness; tennis is her favorite sport to play when she is not on the sidelines cheering her children on as a hockey / lacrosse mom
Eric Medow
Senior Advisor,
Snowhawk
Eric brings more than 30 years of M&A and capital markets experience, focused
primarily on the technology, media and telecommunications industries.

Prior to Snowhawk, Eric was the Co-Head of the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications investment banking group at Lazard for six years. While at Lazard, Eric worked across all three sectors, having advised clients such as Intel, HPE, CBS, Tribune Publishing and Stonepeak.

Prior to Lazard, Eric spent 14 years at Citigroup where he held a number of senior roles in the M&A and Communications groups, most recently as the Head of the Global Telecommunications Practice and Co-Head of the North American Communications Group.

Prior to Citigroup, Eric spent two years at The Carlyle Group where he was a Managing Director focused on communications and technology private equity investments. Eric began his career at Salomon Brothers Inc, where he spent nine years in the M&A and Communications groups.

Eric graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Duke University.
Nicholas Laag
Founder & CEO,
Prime Data Centers
Mr. Nicholas Laag is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prime Data Centers. He brings 25 years of private equity experience and global executive operational leadership, spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Prior to establishing Prime Data Centers, Mr. Laag co-founded two platforms in the real estate and infrastructure sectors and currently serves as a non-executive stakeholder in a multifamily ground leases business in Europe. His career commenced in finance, where he was part of the leadership team responsible for the growth of Forum Partners Investment Management from inception to approximately $4.5 billion in assets under management between 2000 and 2009, following which he divested his ownership to pursue independent business ventures.
David Small
Senior Operating Partner,
Snowhawk
David brings more than 30 years of experience and industry knowledge in the telecommunications and technology space, having spent the majority of his career with Verizon and predecessor companies. David is on the board of Secure Vision, Inc.

Prior to joining Snowhawk, David held a number of senior executive positions within Verizon, most recently as Executive Vice President of Global Field Operations & Assurance where he was responsible for a team of 35,000 construction, installation and maintenance personnel for all network switch, cell site, and other field network elements across the globe in addition to all customer premise activity. This included Verizon’s fiber broadband FiOS business, where he was responsible for building, installing, operating, and maintaining all network and customer-premise equipment.

Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Verizon Wireless, where he was responsible for a team of 58,000 sales, customer service, and operations personnel. Prior to this, he was Verizon’s Chief Platform Officer and was responsible for all cloud, co-location, cybersecurity, managed hosting, managed services, professional services and telematics business units.

Earlier in his career, he served as the Chief Technology Officer and Northeast Area President of Verizon Wireless, President of Verizon’s Wholesale business unit, and a number of other roles across engineering, marketing, sales and operations domains.

David holds an MBA from Ball State University and a BSME from Purdue University.
Nico Farago
Principal,
Snowhawk
Nico brings 11 years of investing and advisory experience in the technology and
communications industries.

Prior to joining Snowhawk, Nico was a Vice President at Newlight Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm spun out of Soros Fund Management, where he focused on investments across digital infrastructure and tech-enabled business services.

He began his career at Evercore, in its Communications M&A group.

Nico holds a B.S. from Cornell University.
Robert Kleban
Founder & CEO,

Robert Kleban brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful companies.

He began his career in 1995 by founding Interchange Cable, a franchised cable operator in Orange Beach, Alabama. By focusing on the unique needs of high-rise vacation rental properties and providing 24/7 customer support, Interchange successfully competed with national incumbents before being acquired in 2004.

In 2006, Robert co-founded SecureVision, launching it as a white-glove telecommunications provider dedicated to meeting the specialized needs of the coastal Alabama condominium and resort market. Bootstrapped from the ground up, SecureVision became the leading telecom provider for beachfront resort communities in the region, earning a reputation for concierge-level service and guaranteed four-hour response times.

In June 2024, SecureVision partnered with Snowhawk LP, which acquired a controlling interest to accelerate growth. Since then, the company has expanded beyond its Alabama coastal roots to span the entire Florida Panhandle, tripling its subscriber base in less than 18 months. Robert has also assembled a world-class leadership team, which, combined with Snowhawk’s operating expertise, has positioned SecureVision to scale rapidly while staying true to its high-touch service model. Together, they are building a premier platform to deliver fiber-fast connectivity and exceptional service to resort and multi-dwelling communities across the Southeast.
Steve McGaw
Senior Operating Partner,

Steve is a seasoned executive with over three decades of experience in the telecommunications, media and technology industries. In addition to his role with Snowhawk, Steve currently serves on the board of directors of SecureVision and as senior advisor to Alvarez & Marsal and to Westrock Asset Management. His past responsibilities have ranged from leading AT&T’s corporate strategy and development to serving as Chief Marketing Officer of AT&T’s $70 billion business product portfolio to leading the company’s wireless supply chain and fleet operations.

Before retiring from AT&T in 2022, Steve led the company’s strategy and corporate development with responsibility for global corporate strategy, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures. During this time, Steve led his team to complete over 70 transactions in media, ad-tech, software, cyber-security, and wireless spectrum representing more than $135 billion in value, including transactions involving the divestitures of DirecTV and WarnerMedia.

Prior to this, Steve’s achievements included the formation of Cingular Wireless and its
subsequent $41 billion acquisition of AT&T Wireless. This was followed by the launch of the
first iPhone in 2007, where Steve led the supply chain negotiations with Apple and the
subsequent launch of the device.

Steve previously served on the board of directors of DirecTV, as well as advisory committees to the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, Purdue University, and the World Economic Forum Steering Committee in support of the Delivering the Digital Infrastructure initiative. Additionally, Steve served as Chairman of the board for the My Possibilities Foundation, a non-profit serving Dallas-area families. He currently serves as a volunteer to The American Red Cross.

Steve earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Science in computer science from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
Jim Trout

James Trout is Chief Executive Officer of CleanArc Data Centers, a company creating the future of data center power by bridging clean energy with best-in-class data centers.

Having held top leadership positions at Vantage Data Centers, Digital Reality Trust and CoreSite, James has been at the forefront of developing the practices of modularization, campus scale and integration of power assets, and ultra-efficient application of green power technologies and controls. Companies and investments that James has directly led have generated profits for limited partners in excess of $1B.

James combines an innate understanding of real estate, capital markets, technology, and people to found and lead profitable enterprises focused on sustainability. James founded and served as CEO and CTO of Vantage Data Centers and had full enterprise-wide responsibility for Portfolio Management and Technical Operations at Digital Realty Trust, one of the largest publicly traded data center providers. He also founded CoreSite, establishing a foundation for network access management and standardizations further adopted throughout the data center industry. Earlier in his career, James founded a data center joint venture with Ross Perot, Jr., pioneering digital infrastructure that preceded hyperscale development in Dallas Ft. Worth. James has also held the role of Vice President of ProLogis, the world’s largest publicly traded integrated operator of industrial and logistics facilities globally.

James founded CleanArc Data Centers to be an innovative provider of first-of-its-kind, sustainability-focused data center development and operation solutions. James holds a BS in Chemical & Materials Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
